UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2014

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to issue notification for conducting of Combined Competitive Engineering Exam 2014. The notification is scheduled to be issued on March 22, 2014. Candidates selected through this exam will be eligible to be appointed for central government Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications. Selected candidates will be recruited in Govt of India’s Engineering organizations such as Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), Central Engineering Services (CES), Military Engineering Services (MES) etc.

Who can Apply (Eligibility) : The candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years of age. Relaxation in age will be available as per Govt rules. The candidate should possess engineering degree from a recognized university. Final year engineering students are also eligible to apply.

Application Form : Applications are to be made online only. Candidates are advised to read the original notification carefully to have a complete view of online filling and filing the application form. Incomplete forms will be out rightly rejected by UPSC. Online applications will be made available at the website: www.upsconline.nic.in
E Admission Certificates or Admit Cards : UPSC will facilitate online download of e admit card at website upsc.gov.in at least three weeks before the date of exam. Candidates are advised to download it online from this website. Candidates are also advised to provide a valid and active email id in the online form. UPSC will use this mail id to contact applicants.
Syllabus: Syllabus of Engineering Services Exam 2014 will be made available through the UPSC notification. Candidates are advised to go through the notification to download the syllabus of their respective stream.

Exam Result : Result will be declared at UPSC website once the exam process is over. Candidates are advised to visit UPSC website for latest news and information about UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2014.
