BJP latest List of Lok Sabha Candidates

Lok Sabha elections are nearing and parties are rushing to declare their candidates for Lok Sabha Elections 2014. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is on verge of declaring its latest list of Lok sabha candidates. BJP central election committee will take the final decision in this regard. This list is being eargely awaited by political circles and the public at large. All eyes are on Varanasi where the veteran BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi is not willing to leave the seat for BJPs Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. However, this is worth noticeable that he has shown some signs of softness few days back when he said that he will not let down party’s Prime Ministerial candidate. He may be bowing under the pressure from RSS. Decision on Varanasi seat may be taken in next few days.
Another significant seat is Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. BJP is willing to field its National President Rajnath Singh. However, BJP veteran Lalji Tandon is also hopeful from this seat. The party will take decision have regard to the larger picture. If the party can benefit by changing candidates from these seats, they will definitely be changed.

BJP has declared name of Yedurrappa. This is being felt in some circles that this may dent the party image. Party is fighting against congress corruption since long. Such names may compel the party to be on back foot whenever the corruption issue comes in.
